Agent Orange

Fort McClellen has had a personal effect on my life even though I never served in the military. Just a short while back I had the privilege of meeting what was to become one of the most important person's in my life. Someone that has given all she could to her country. Someone that valued the American Dream someone proud to be serving her country. Someone that has changed my life forever. Not only her but as many as 700,000  men and women that have been through Fort McClellen and with devastating results to their  health.

Toxic soldiers
Anniston, Alabama, is one sick town. Not only did everyone's favorite chemical company, Monsanto, spew toxic PCBs into their groundwater and air for decades under the protection of the government, but their Fort McClellan army base was the site of chemical and biological weapons
training and testing that has left thousands of soldiers extremely sick. Now, the soldiers are trying to get legislation passed that would at least mandate that the federal government create a registry of soldiers
who went through the base to track toxicity and also to help veterans get the benefits they deserve. But the government isn't so keen on the initiative. The Resident discusses.
